Plastic Components
GMS source a wide variety of plastic components from all over the world. GMS' typically source plastic components from our approved partners in the Far East for use in the UK furniture market. The types of plastic components we source includes:
- Extrusions
- Mouldings
- PU injection mouldings
The factories we use have a wide range of capability – from simple injection plastic mouldings to complex PU mouldings with steel interiors.
The extrusions are available in a variety of finishes - coloured, wood painted or foils including chrome and other matalic surfaces. We can also extrude in two densities of plastic into the same extrusion where the function requires different densities for different parts of the profile.
